A 21-year-old Brampton man is facing multiple charges following a traffic stop in Brampton, conducted on the afternoon on Friday, July 30.
According to police, officers from 22 Division were patrolling the area of Creditview Road and Fairhill Drive at around 5:15 p.m. when they conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle.
An investigation from the officers found a loaded .40 calibre firearm and ammunition.
As a result, a 21-year-old Bramptonian has been charged with five offences, including unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle, among others.
The man appeared for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton the following day on Saturday, July 31.
