St. John's Man Caught for Impaired After Drive-Thru Pit Stop - VOCM

A 42-year-old St. John’s man is without his licence and car after he was caught driving while impaired due to a late-night drive-thru pit stop.

According to RCMP, a business in Bay Roberts called the police as a man at their drive-thru window had open alcohol in his car, and they suspected that he was impaired.

Police arrived and pulled the man over, failing him on a roadside breath test.

He was charged for impaired driving and having open alcohol in his car.

He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
