The company, a collection of smaller bus and limousine firms, is based in Mississauga. Onex Bus, which stands for Ontario Express Bus, has launched a Toronto-to-London express route with just one stop in Woodstock, and a second route with stops in Woodstock, Kitchener and Mississauga.

The first bus leaves daily at 5:30 a.m. from the former Greyhound terminal on York Street.

The loss of Greyhound buses left Londoners without any options to get to Toronto by bus. A day later, St. Thomas-based Badder Bus and MegaBus announced twice-daily service between London and Toronto, departing from the Flying J truck stop on Highbury Avenue, south of Highway 401.

But Onex Bus says its service will be conveniently placed at stops where riders can connect to local bus service through the London Transit Commission (LTC). The service stops downtown, at Victoria Hospital and at White Oaks Mall.

Adblock test (Why?)
